About the job
The Goldau Nature and Animal Park annually delights around 450,000 visitors amidst an impressive rocky landscape and idyllic forests. Around 100 European wild animal species live on 42 hectares. About 200 employees and many volunteers are passionately committed to nature and species conservation, education, and research – driving forward the sustainable goals of the scientifically managed animal park.
Your tasks
- Accounts receivable and accounts payable including payment runs
- Booking of donation receipts
- Account reconciliations in financial accounting
- Assistance with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Close cooperation with the accounting department and support of fundraising
- Responsible for sponsorship administration (including acknowledgment management)
- Co-organizing the annual sponsor event
- Responsible for data maintenance of the ERP system and creating instructions
- Preparation of reports for the finance and fundraising departments
- Possibly supervising a commercial trainee
Your profile
- Commercial training
- Experience in accounting (professional certificate advantageous)
- Strong numerical understanding
- Independent, structured, and reliable working style
- Solution-oriented behavior
- Affinity for IT and digital processes
