To complement our manhunt and investigation team of the criminal police, we are looking for you as
Police Officer Criminal Investigation (general investigations and manhunt) 80–100 %
immediately or by arrangement with workplace in Glarus.
Tasks
- Conducting police preliminary investigations and investigative procedures in all areas of crime including serious crime
- Organisation and execution of targeted house searches, manhunts and arrests
- Representation in various specialist committees
- Member of the surveillance unit
- Close cooperation with prosecution authorities as well as other official bodies
- Taking on criminal police on-call duties
Requirements
- Federal specialist certificate police officer, SPI certificate
- Several years of professional experience as a police officer, preferably in the field of criminal police
- Proactive personality with life experience, high social competence, resilience and sense of duty
- Enjoyment of independent and responsible work in a small, efficient team
- If interested and suitable, specialisation in various specialist areas is possible
- Willingness to work evening, weekend and on-call duties (no residence requirement in the canton of Glarus; reachability within the on-call radius required)
