With state-of-the-art technology, we achieve excellent and sustainable value creation in the market.GZM Extraktionswerk AG in Lyss acts as a service provider for the Swiss meat industry, handling the disposal of animal residues of category K1. This creates an essential prerequisite for a regulated meat supply in Switzerland. Additionally, GZM fulfils a service mandate for the disposal of public animal collection points from eleven cantons and the disposal of large animals in agriculture from five cantons. GZM is part of Centravo Holding AG.
For our Technology & Maintenance department at the Lyss location, we are looking for you to start immediately or by arrangement as
Employee Mechanical Maintenance & Repair (m/f/d)
Your main tasks:
- Maintenance, repair and service work on the machinery and infrastructure in the mechanical area
- Preventive maintenance and renewal of production facilities
- Dismantling and assembly of assemblies such as containers, electric motors, gearboxes, pipelines, etc.
- General welding work for plant, metal and pipe construction
- Commissioning of controls, regulators, etc., in the areas of water, chemicals and steam
Our requirements:
- Completed vocational training with a Federal VET Diploma as an industrial mechanic, agricultural mechanic, construction machinery mechanic, plant or apparatus builder or similar training
- Several years of professional and industrial experience
- Good knowledge of welding work, pneumatics and hydraulics as well as control technology
- Independent, resilient, team-oriented personality with a networked way of thinking
- Clean and efficient working, organisational talent and good physical fitness
- Language: good German skills in spoken and written form
- Willingness to be on call and occasionally perform maintenance and servicing work on Sundays and public holidays
