ABEGG FOUNDATION
The Abegg Foundation is a museum and research institute specialising in the history of textile art
from its beginnings until around 1800 as well as the conservation and restoration of textiles.
To complement our team, we are looking for immediate or agreed start
Caretaker 60–80 %
with an interest in varied and changing tasks.
Your qualifications:
- You have completed a recognised vocational training EFZ (e.g. carpenter, electrician, polymechanic) with several years of professional experience
- You are competent in the maintenance of technical equipment
- You have a strong sense of quality and an appreciation for well-maintained buildings and green spaces
- You demonstrate care and respect in the environment of cultural assets
- You have good manners and command the German language fluently in speech and writing
- You have an impeccable reputation
- You are willing to perform on-call duty on site in rotation (accommodation is provided during this time)
