About the job
We are Bank Cler. A Swiss bank that has been telling it like it is for almost 100 years. Because "Cler" is Romansh and means clear, simple, distinct. That’s exactly how we operate. That’s why we ensure financial clarity – when saving, paying, investing, providing for the future, and financing. We advise, whether digitally with our app Zak or on-site in our 23 branches, and make sure our interns are involved from the very start. You take on responsibility, are close to our customers, and help make financial topics understandable.
Do you want to make a difference? If you think along and take responsibility, you fit with us. Let’s grow together!
Your internship
During the 18-month internship, you will have many opportunities for your personal development, be actively involved rather than just observing, gain valuable experience during three varied assignments, and dive deep into the banking world, for example:
- Customer advice in person at the counter or by phone
- Carrying out account openings, payments & payment transactions
- In-depth advice on loans, investments & banking products for private and corporate customers
- Projects and exciting insights into digital banking solutions
- Completion with the nationally recognised banking industry certificate (BEM)
And because you give it your all, even more great things await you!
- Exciting opportunities to advance: Later on, managing a branch? Sounds odd, but if you put in the effort, you can develop further within the group and discover new exciting areas. Take a look at the portraits of our employees here.
- Events that connect: Meet other interns and employees at numerous events throughout the group.
- More for your wallet: For example, with Reka checks, sports offers, and a general subscription for the SBB.
Your learning locations:
📍Our bank branches (Basel, Aarau & Olten)
Your training place with us, where you will be supported and accompanied by experienced practical trainers.
📍CYP (Challenge Your Potential)
Here you complete the inter-company banking courses and deepen your banking knowledge with modern learning methods.
📍IGKG
Graduates of the commercial secondary school attend the supplementary inter-company courses here and deepen their service and administration knowledge.
📍Internal sales training & specialist courses
We offer you various training sessions to prepare you for consultations, communication with customers, and the sale of banking services.
