Engineer Control Technology Substations/Power Plants

You will lead and develop a team of around 15 experienced product developers and be responsible for the further development and new development of our rotary encoders.

Your tasks:

• Responsible for the creation, operation and maintenance of SCADA, process control and automation systems of switchgear (e.g. 110 kV / 22 kV), battery storage and overarching power plant control systems.
• Contact person for internal and external project participants, planners and suppliers in all technical and organisational matters of control and automation technology.
• Development of solution concepts, specifications as well as specification and quality management in the role of the client representative.
• Participation in the creation of operating and maintenance concepts as well as in the establishment of the corresponding organisation.
• Responsible for the design and implementation of OT cybersecurity in the SCADA/process control technology area, taking into account company-wide requirements.

Your profile:

• Completed studies in electrical engineering (BSc/MSc/HF) or comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in planning, creation, operation or maintenance of SCADA systems, process control technology or automation in substations, power plants or comparable large industrial plants.
• Experience with control systems such as Siemens SICAM, Hitachi MicroSCADA X or similar systems.
• Sound knowledge of IT/OT architectures and security features of critical infrastructures as well as relevant standards (e.g. ISO 27001, IEC 62443, IEC 60870, IEC 61850).
• Fluent German and basic English skills.
• Enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-growing and technology-driven environment.
