Practical Trainee
Internship (6 months) — Audio Development
In our Research and Development (R&D) group, we develop hearing solutions and services for hearing impaired people and hearing care professionals, including hearing instruments, accessories, web services, mobile applications, and PC software.
During your internship in R&D, you will contribute to the functional development of our hearing devices in the Audiology team.
Your tasks
- Contribute to development of new test methods to test novel algorithms
- Plan and execute audiological studies, including technical measurements
- Analyze results and formulate proposals for implementation in our products
- Communicate results to colleagues
- Support and collaborate closely with audiological researchers
Your profile
- University degree in engineering, computer science, acoustics, or audiology
- Proficient in:
- Programming in MATLAB
- Using (electro)acoustic test and measurement equipment
- Statistical data analysis and data visualization
- Documentation and writing reports
- Analytical, independent, and proactive
- Strong ability to work in a team
- Able to work in a collaborative environment with a positive approach
- Good knowledge of German or English
