The Urban Planning, Construction and Public Space Department of the City of Morges leads sustainable and innovative projects while ensuring respect for the existing heritage. Attached to the Department, the Construction Police Office ensures the monitoring and control of construction projects from a legal, administrative and technical perspective. To complete the existing team, we are currently looking for a
Construction Police Officer at 80%
Your main tasks will be:
- analysing building permit applications and municipal authorisation requests (checking the formal and substantive regularity of submitted files, contacting agents to complete files, etc.)
- responding to letters, emails and phone calls concerning requests to the Construction Police Office
- carrying out territory inspections, site visits and health inspections
- drafting building, habitation/use permits
- analysing requests for compliance control of premises during licence modifications according to the law on inns and beverage outlets (LADB)
- managing files related to the law on the harmonisation of registers, particularly the building register statistics.
Profile sought:
- HES architect or technical training (CFC draughtsman in building, surveyor) with equivalent experience considered
- good knowledge of land use planning and construction police legislation, procedures and the functioning of a municipal administration
- proficiency in the Office suite, SIT knowledge
- knowledge of AEAI fire protection regulations
- organisational rigour, public service mindset, team spirit and confidence in contacts
