About the job
What you will do here
- Advise and support students and staff on laboratory matters
- Prepare teaching materials and experiments
- Supervise group work and correct assignments and laboratory reports
- Conduct soil, ring, and nutrient analyses
- Measure various soil parameters in the field to determine CEC (elemental analysis, etc.)
- Maintain equipment in the training laboratory (chemistry, soil chemistry, soil physics)
What you ideally bring with you
- Training as a chemical laboratory technician, at least 5 years of professional experience and/or a bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Experience in conducting scientific experiments
- Knowledge of ICP-MS and elemental analysis
- Strong quality and responsibility awareness, resilient and committed
- Organisational, communication, and teamwork skills
- Native German or French speaker with good knowledge of the other language -
