About the job

• Advise and support students and staff on laboratory matters
• Prepare teaching materials and experiments
• Supervise group work and correct assignments and laboratory reports
• Conduct soil, ring, and nutrient analyses
• Measure various soil parameters in the field to determine CEC (elemental analysis, etc.)
• Maintain equipment in the training laboratory (chemistry, soil chemistry, soil physics)

• Training as a chemical laboratory technician, at least 5 years of professional experience and/or a bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Experience in conducting scientific experiments
• Knowledge of ICP-MS and elemental analysis
• Strong quality and responsibility awareness, resilient and committed
• Organisational, communication, and teamwork skills
• Native German or French speaker with good knowledge of the other language
