These are your tasks
- Responsible for overall management of network expansion in the major project "Expansion of District Heating West"
- Manage subprojects and area developments through various SIA phases and ensure successful implementation
- Understand the demanding environment of public interests and coordinate stakeholders such as the civil engineering office, urban greenery, traffic planning and neighbourhood representatives
- Lead the project team professionally and strengthen collaboration between project managers, authorities, planning offices and construction companies
- Participate as a key leadership figure in steering and decision-making committees and actively shape project development
- Responsible for reporting on costs, schedules, quality and risks
- Identify risks early, make well-founded decisions and proactively develop solutions
- Further develop sustainable and efficient district heating networks in urban areas
This is what sets you apart
- University degree (HF/FH/ETH) in engineering sciences (civil, electrical, mechanical engineering) or a comparable discipline, ideally with further training in project management
- Several years of experience in managing large projects (civil engineering, building construction, energy production) and leading interdisciplinary teams
- Experience with projects in public spaces
- Knowledge of public procurement law and experience in the political environment is an advantage
- Leadership skills, strong communication and a good sense for reconciling different interests
- Routine in developing and co-designing solutions for sustainable, efficient energy solutions in urban areas
