About the job

• Operational and strategic management and further development of the Research Centre "Musical Education"
• Personnel management and promotion of junior staff as well as workload planning in the Research Centre
• Financial responsibility in the Research Centre, planning and support in third-party funding and project acquisition
• Supervision of master theses and doctoral dissertations
• Own research activity desired and possible with additional workload

• Doctorate in music education or a comparable discipline with a focus on music
• Leadership experience, preferably in a university context
• Successful third-party funding and project acquisition
• National and international networking
• Native German speaker or excellent German skills in spoken and written form (C2) as well as very good English skills; knowledge of French and Italian is an advantage
