Top Sharing Partner kjz Meilen for the "Family Support" area 70 - 80%The Office for Youth and Career Counseling (AJB) is responsible for child and youth welfare as well as career counseling. Children, adolescents, and families are at the center of our work. We dedicate ourselves to them daily with great passion and commitment.
The kjz (Child and Youth Welfare Center) is a counseling center for families, parents, adolescents, children, and toddlers and operates based on the Child and Youth Welfare Act of the Canton of Zurich.
For kjz Meilen, we are looking for a Top Sharing Partner 70–80% for the "Family Support" area (mother and father counseling as well as parenting counseling) starting June 1, 2026, or by arrangement.
Together with the position partner responsible for the "Official Child Protection" area, you will lead kjz Meilen (with a total of 32 employees) in professional, organizational, and personnel matters. You skillfully operate at the interface of expertise, leadership, and public mandate with direct impact on children, adolescents, and families. You implement the kjz strategy set by the AJB and help shape the further development of our services. You collaborate with committees and specialist offices in the municipalities. Your active participation in cantonal and regional conferences, working, and project groups rounds off your diverse range of tasks.
You bring:
- a professional or university degree in psychology, early childhood, or a comparable field
- proven leadership experience and management skills at the operational planning level
- enthusiasm for actively developing our services
- passion for child and youth welfare
- several years of professional experience in family counseling
- solid knowledge in early childhood
- excellent communication skills and good negotiation skills
- decisive, resilient, and assertive personality
- strategic thinking ability and understanding of processes in complex organizations and political systems
