Job Description

Context

As part of transformation and application evolution projects, our client is looking for a Performance & Load Test Consultant to ensure the robustness, scalability, and performance of applications before their production deployment.

Main missions

• Define the performance strategy and objectives in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Design and maintain load, stress, endurance, and ramp-up test plans and scenarios.
• Prepare environments and data sets necessary for test campaigns.
• Develop and configure performance test scripts.
• Execute and supervise test campaigns.
• Analyse results, identify bottlenecks, and propose optimisation actions.
• Conduct revalidation campaigns after corrections.
• Produce performance reports and associated indicators.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of performance practices and tools.

Qualifications

Desired profile

• Proven experience in performance and load testing.
• Proficiency with JMeter and/or LoadRunner (VuGen) tools.
• Good understanding of application architectures, APIs, databases, and infrastructures.
• Experience analysing performance metrics (response times, throughput, errors, resource consumption).
• Ability to identify causes of degradation and provide technical recommendations.
• Familiarity with ISTQB, TMAP methodologies or equivalent.

Appreciated skills

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (AppDynamics, Splunk or equivalent).
• Knowledge of CI/CD environments and DevOps practices.
• Ability to collaborate with development, architecture, and operations teams.
