Project Manager

About the job

As a Project Manager, you take full responsibility for the execution of our customer projects in the fields of IoT, sensor technology, edge computing and computer vision. You manage deadlines, budget and quality, act as the central contact person for our customers and work closely with the responsible System Manager, who is in charge of the technical implementation.

Tasks

This particularly includes the following tasks:

• After the project handover from Sales, you take responsibility for the successful execution of customer projects in the areas of public transportation, retail, cities and buildings, from planning to project acceptance.
• You manage the project in our ERP system regarding hours, reporting, controlling and budget, ensuring that deadlines, costs and quality targets are met.
• You are the central interface to the customer throughout the entire project duration, communicate proactively and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• You work closely with the System Manager, who is responsible for the technical system design and implementation, ensuring a clean interface between commercial management and technical solution.
• You identify cross- and upselling potential together with the Sales Lead and organise project acceptance and closure with the customer.
• At the end of the project, you ensure complete documentation together with the System Manager and organise the handover to our live operations team.

Qualifications

Your profile

• You have several years of experience in project management and have successfully completed demanding projects.
• You have a good understanding of topics such as IoT, sensor technology, edge computing or computer vision and can communicate with our technical teams on an equal footing – even without programming yourself.
• Experience in the rail, tram or bus environment as well as in urban mobility is a plus.
• You have experience in requirements engineering and business analysis as well as a good understanding of data, its structure and significance.
• You work in a structured manner, keep an eye on budget, deadlines and quality, and gladly take on responsibility.
• You convey complex technical topics appropriately to customers and internal stakeholders.
• You live our "We make it work" mentality: if the project requires it, you also pitch in with administrative tasks or technical implementation.
• You communicate fluently in German and can also confidently express yourself in English.
