The Ristorante La Scala and the Vinobar Il Sottoscala are located in Rapperswil on the beautiful quay of Lake Zurich. The small town is idyllic and the quality of life is unique. Mountains and city are reachable in a short time.
Our à la carte restaurant has 75 indoor seats and 60 terrace seats. The Vinobar offers 20 indoor seats and 45 terrace seats directly on the lake promenade. This is the meeting point for local as well as national and international guests.
Our team stands for quality-oriented, Mediterranean cuisine and for lived hospitality. Our goals are to pamper the guest and offer them a unique experience.
For our Italian restaurant we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a
Service Staff 40%-80% (m/f) – Eastern Switzerland
Your tasks
Your work schedule depends on your availability – fixed one day a week or five days a week.
In this role you are responsible for the following tasks at the respective station:
• Taking reservations
• Guest care from reception to farewell
• Service preparation
• Collection of consumption payments
• Assistance with banquets and special events
You also bring the following requirements:
Gastronomy is your passion and you practise your profession with enthusiasm.
• Motivated, trained or untrained
• Independent and responsible way of working
• Reliability
• Confident handling of stressful situations, resilient
• Good German skills, additional languages an advantage
• Enjoyment of the host role
