Automotive Mechatronics Technician or Construction Machinery Mechanic for Mobile Crane Repairs

For over 100 years, Gebr. Knecht AG has been a reliable partner in commercial vehicles, construction machinery, bodywork and signage. Owner-managed, family-run, at four locations in Switzerland – our pneumatic crane service in Windisch is one of the few addresses in the region with this specialised knowledge. Since 2024, we have also been part of the Thomann Commercial Vehicle Group with a total of eleven locations throughout German-speaking Switzerland.

• Repair and maintenance of pneumatic and mobile cranes
• Carrying out MFK inspections and preparing vehicles for them
• Troubleshooting and diagnosis of hydraulics, electrical/electronic systems and mechanical assemblies
• Maintenance and service work according to manufacturer specifications
• On-call service for urgent repairs outside regular working hours

• Completed training as automotive mechatronics technician for commercial vehicles, construction machinery mechanic or equivalent qualification
• Experience with hydraulics and crane technology is an advantage
• Independent, precise working style – also under time pressure during on-call duty
• Willingness for occasional on-call and external assignments
• Driving licence category B required, category C/CE advantageous
