Job description

To strengthen our legal department based in Biel, we are looking immediately or by agreement for a

Trademark and Design Specialist (m/f/d) 100%

Management of the trademark and design portfolios of the Swatch Group companies, notably:

• Advising Group companies on the protection of their trademarks and designs
• Filing, renewal and analysis of trademark and design portfolios
• Availability searches for trademarks and monitoring of newly filed trademarks and designs
• Processing and management of trademark use evidence
• Handling disputes, in some cases in collaboration with external lawyers
• Monitoring various procedures and deadlines
• Instruction to external lawyers and management thereof
• Reporting to management
• Various administrative tasks related to portfolio management

Profile

• Specialist in trademark and design law with legal training or from a University of Applied Sciences
• Several years of experience in the field of trademark and design protection, preferably in an international environment.
• Native French or German speaker with excellent knowledge of the other language, very good level of English (written and spoken)
• Team spirit, loyalty, availability, flexibility and sense of responsibility
• Precision, autonomy, responsiveness and analytical mind
