Grid Maintenance Manager Prilly or Ostermundigen (80-100%) - 1648
Ensuring electricity in Switzerland
As a Grid Maintenance Manager, you take responsibility for the safe and reliable operation of our high-voltage facilities (substations). You manage the maintenance and repair of your facilities, keep an eye on budget, service providers and quality, and ensure that work is carried out safely and professionally.
You are not just at the desk: you are regularly on site, coordinate work directly at the facilities and work closely with internal specialist departments, service providers, authorities and system control. At the same time, you contribute your expertise to transformation and grid construction projects.
You take on the following tasks, among others:
Assuming facility responsibility according to EN50110 and implementing strategic guidelines from maintenance concepts and directives
Creating and instructing work orders before and during work, accompanying necessary switching measures in coordination with the operational contact person of the facility, system control and other involved parties
Ensuring appropriate documentation and condition assessment of the facilities
Implementing maintenance tasks and documentation in SAP PM, SharePoint, etc.
Developing the maintenance budget for the facilities under your responsibility (mainly in the Upper Valais region) and implementing the financial guidelines for maintenance
Monitoring maintenance measures on site and ensuring occupational safety
Responsibility for order processing with our service providers
Central contact point for internal and external partners
Independent handling of interdisciplinary projects in the area of Asset Operations
Last but not least: You support the safe working of Swissgrid and partners – you actively live and promote the "Safety First" culture
This is how you make a difference
You are an independent and team-oriented personality who likes to take responsibility and keeps an overview even in demanding situations. You communicate clearly, work solution-oriented and can confidently represent your position towards service providers and authorities. You bring the following:
Electrical apprenticeship with further training to technician or engineer HF/FH with a degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent qualification
Expertise in plant construction according to the High Voltage Ordinance, Art. 3 No. 23 is an advantage
Very good knowledge in maintenance management in plant or overhead line construction (power plants, HV facilities, industrial plants)
Solid technical knowledge in the area of primary and secondary technical equipment of the facilities
Strong conceptual skills and an independent, structured way of working
Experience with SAP PM or comparable applications is an advantage
Good user knowledge of the MS Office suite, SAP and GIS, and ideally experience with BIM methodologies
Very good German skills and good French skills, English skills are an advantage
