What to expect
- Responsibility for marketing your assortments including defining communication priorities
- Development and implementation of marketing and promotion plans in coordination with product management and manufacturers
- Conceptualization and implementation of sales promotion measures, new product presentations, and manufacturer worlds
- Co-negotiation of advertising cost subsidies (WKZ) as well as responsibility for WKZ controlling and billing
- A versatile and responsible role where you analyze, monitor, and continuously optimize sales promotion measures as well as the performance of your assortments and brands in the shop with your strong analytical understanding
- Ensuring an attractive shop appearance in close coordination with product management and platform marketing
- Interface and coordination function between product management, central marketing, manufacturers, and sales channels
- Providing input for guide content and other marketing measures
- Active exchange with other category marketing managers to further develop marketing activities
What you bring
- A completed commercial basic education as well as further training in marketing and/or business administration with a focus on marketing – or a comparable qualification
- 2–3 years of experience in category management or marketing, ideally in e-commerce or retail
- Passion for beauty and cosmetic trends
- Experience in planning and implementing marketing measures
- Good MS Office skills as well as a strong affinity for digital tools and technologies (Adobe Analytics is an advantage)
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills
- You convince with analytical, networked, and entrepreneurial thinking as well as a strong affinity for numbers and enjoyment of thorough analyses
- Independent, efficient, and structured working style with high initiative
- Strong communication skills and negotiation skills in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- You are a team-oriented, solution-focused personality
