Your area of responsibility

From Aadorf, you will bear cross-location responsibility (CH/FR/AT) for a stable, efficient and future-proof engineering system environment (CAD/PDM/PLM), ensure user-oriented operation and actively drive its further development through digitalisation, standardisation and automation.

• Overall responsibility for the engineering system landscape (CAD/PDM/PLM) including support, maintenance and further development
• Building interfaces of the CAD/PDM/PLM systems to adjacent applications such as ERP, MES and configuration solutions
• Building and further developing key user structures including training, coaching and knowledge transfer
• Analysis, standardisation, optimisation and automation of engineering processes as well as ensuring high data quality
• Leading and implementing digitalisation projects in the engineering and manufacturing environment
• Central interface between engineering, operations and IT for coordinating requirements and system adjustments
• Evaluation and introduction of new technologies with a focus on automation, AI and seamless digital end-to-end processes

What you bring

• Completed technical basic training (construction/informatics) as well as corresponding higher education, e.g. technician HF or equivalent
• Several years of professional experience in the field of CAD/PDM/PLM, preferably in the Autodesk universe (Inventor, Vault, Fusion Manage)
• Affinity for new technologies and ability to actively identify and utilise AI potentials
• Experience in leading projects and implementing digitalisation and automation initiatives
• Strong communication and coordination skills in dealing with different departments and stakeholders
• Very good German and good English skills, French skills an advantage
• Independent, solution-oriented personality with high initiative and pronounced service orientation
