Clerk Criminal Police Search and Investigation Service - Youth Contact Police 50–70 %
from April 1, 2026, or by arrangement with the workplace in Glarus.
Tasks
- Conducting police preliminary investigations and investigative procedures in the area of juvenile and adult criminal law (FED)
- Early detection of conspicuous juveniles and initiation of possible measures
- Crime prevention with a focus on juvenile delinquency
- Crisis interventions at schools (secondary / vocational schools) and institutions with young people
- Support of the employees of the search/investigation service in criminal police activities (search / surveillance)
Requirements
- Completed training as a police officer with federal diploma / certificate
- Strong social skills, convincing and correct appearance
- Skilled in dealing with young people
- Independent, flexible, proactive, resilient, and conscientious
- Networked thinking and acting
- Willingness for evening shifts, weekend, and on-call duties
