Passionate about stable cloud operations, cyber security and IAM in a multi-customer setup? We are looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer (60 - 100%) for our team in Zurich.
Responsibilities
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you are responsible for the stable, secure and scalable operation of our cloud platform on GCP, with which we measure, analyse and forecast pedestrian and traffic flows. You are responsible for the stable operation of our infrastructure, our cyber security as well as our identity and access management structures. In doing so, you actively shape our security, compliance and reliability standards and create the technical foundation for all our products.
Your tasks
- You are responsible for the stable and scalable operation and further development of our Kubernetes platform and databases in a productive multi-customer environment.
- You ensure reproducible, versioned and auditable deployments with GitOps and Infrastructure as Code and implement monitoring and alerting concepts.
- You take holistic responsibility for our cyber security: from IAM and vulnerability management to security monitoring and incident response.
- You further develop disaster recovery strategies and support compliance and audit requirements in platform operations.
You work with the following tech stack:
- Kubernetes (GKE), ArgoCD, Helm
- Terraform (IaC)
- Keycloak, OAuth2 / OIDC, GCP IAM, GCP VPC
- Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus
- Vulnerability Scanning, SIEM (e.g. Google SCC)
- PostgreSQL / AlloyDB
Qualifications
Your profile
- You have several years of experience operating productive cloud platforms and have already taken responsibility for critical systems.
- You bring solid experience with Kubernetes in production environments, Infrastructure as Code, cyber security as well as identity & access management in multi-user or multi-customer setups.
- You are a true team player and are looking for a role where you can have a direct impact on the company’s success within a small team.
- You are communicative, enjoy professional discussions and can communicate fluently in German (advantageous) or English.
