The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,000 collaborators. The Rennaz Hospital Center has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. The endoscopy unit consists of 3 intervention rooms dedicated to diagnostic examinations or interventional surgery.

The main missions of this position are

• Ensure the preparation and instrumentation of elective and emergency interventions
• Ensure patient sedation according to the protocol in force in the unit
• Develop and maintain knowledge to adapt to all new developments
• Contribute, as a member of the care team, to the smooth running of the unit
• Develop polyvalence skills in the different surgical specialties
• Implement hygiene and safety measures taking into account the risks inherent to the nature of the interventions and the specificity of the patients, as well as the use of medical devices
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team for the care of operated patients, ensuring their well-being by offering quality reception and support

We require

• A nursing diploma or an equivalent qualification, ideally with experience in endoscopy
• Knowledge and experience in acute care (an asset)
• Excellent adaptability, anticipation, and initiative skills, as well as good stress management
• A motivated, rigorous, and dynamic person with a sense of responsibility
