Reference: CLS/RH/2026.750 / Contract type: Permanent contract at 100% / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop "Riponne" or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop "Beaulieu-Jomini")

Joining our institution means actively contributing to rethinking ambulatory pathways by placing quality, safety, and patient experience at the center of priorities. In this context, we are recruiting a Head to support the development of our ambulatory surgery center and its endoscopy activity.
What will you be expected to do?
- Manage the operational management of the ambulatory surgery center (day clinic and endoscopy activity)
- Plan and optimize patient flows and scheduling with an efficiency mindset
- Supervise, coordinate, and unite a multidisciplinary team (approx. 21 FTE)
- Oversee the integration, supervision, and training of employees and students
- Ensure quality, safety, and continuity of care throughout the patient journey
- Participate in the development and strategic orientations of ambulatory activity
- Anticipate activity changes and propose organizational adaptations
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives and manage performance indicators
- Promote collaboration with specialist doctors and anesthetists as well as all physicians

- Collaborate in monitoring certification and quality audits and contribute to institutional projects
- Apply directives and promote institutional projects
- Ensure proper communication flow upwards, downwards, and across all partners
Who will you work with?
What do we expect from you?
Essentials:
- Hold a diploma in nursing, operating room technician, or an equivalent qualification, ideally complemented by management training (CAS, DAS, or MAS)
- Have proven experience in team management in a hospital environment
- Have significant experience in the operating room, ideally as a scrub nurse or circulating nurse, with a good understanding of surgical requirements
- Possess strong ability to structure, organize, and prioritize in a demanding environment

- Experience in setting up or transforming an ambulatory activity
- Master the specific challenges of endoscopy (flows, scheduling, safety)
- Demonstrate ability to support change, mobilize teams, and transform organizations
- Be proactive and drive continuous improvement dynamics
