The opportunity
In the R&D department for gas-insulated switchgear (GIS), we are looking for an intern for the Mechanics & Reliability Engineering team. We offer you a job in a project-oriented, dynamic, and agile environment with ambitious goals in a modern R&D department. You will gain insight into the interrelationship of technology, product development, product testing and product production of high voltage switchgears, in which we offer you active participation in our core activities. You will work and be integrated in a team of experts in the field of high voltage design, having the possibility to extend, deepen and further develop the knowledge in electrical and mechanical design. The duration of the internship is 6 months.

Preparation of technical presentations, reports and mechanical design guidelines
Your background

Enrolled bachelor's or master's student in physics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a related field

Good programming skills (Python)

Interest in hands-on work

Fluency in written and spoken English

Openness, proactivity and strong communication skills

Ability to work in a team, as well as willingness to handle responsibilities independently
