About the job
Ready for the next mission – but in a new team?
Are you a police officer and looking for a change? Then this could be your next step.
Police Officer (all) 60%
From May 1, 2026, or by arrangement, we are looking for reinforcement for our 13-member team. Together, we ensure safety and presence day by day in Regensdorf and Buchs ZH – two vibrant communities with around 27,000 inhabitants.
Requirements
You have the federal specialist certificate or the federal diploma as a police officer. Due to your physical fitness, you do not only want to be on patrol in the police car but also on foot, by e-bike, or on a motorcycle. If you are looking for a varied police daily routine with real opportunities to shape it in a appreciative environment, then you are right in the corps of the Regensdorf municipal police.
Tasks
Since you are a trained police officer, we will refrain from listing your tasks here. You are already well familiar with them. Your predecessor was a trained traffic instructor. Perhaps you bring expertise in this area or are motivated to get involved in this field? If not, no problem. We will certainly find a suitable secondary position for you.
Offer
We offer you the opportunity to engage in a steadily growing region of the canton of Zurich. Our corps is characterized by modern equipment, socially compatible working hours, contemporary remuneration, and a family-like atmosphere. In addition, we specifically promote further training such as specialization in commercial police matters, as a youth police officer, or in the field of speed controls.
As an employee of the municipality of Regensdorf, you benefit from progressive social benefits, an additional day off for your birthday, as well as a contribution to your half-fare travelcard. More information about this and other fringe benefits can be found here .
To make the application process easier for you, we waive a motivation letter. Upload your CV, certificates, and qualification documents to our application tool. We look forward to getting to know you and learning your reasons for applying in a relaxed, personal conversation.
By the way….Trust grows more easily with first names – and that is how we start every collaboration. For questions and information, Stefan Tanner, Police Chief, phone 044 842 37 80, is happy to assist you.
We look forward to your online application!
