Job description
The Centre for Continuing and Distance Education's mission is to facilitate the implementation of programmes, the development of distance learning, and the promotion of offers and information regarding continuing education.
The role's mission is to support the development and dissemination of university continuing education teachings.
The main duties assigned to the post holder are as follows:
- Collaborate in the creation and implementation of continuing education programmes
- Implement training projects for coordinators/teachers of continuing education programmes, prioritising the field of andragogical and techno-pedagogical engineering
- Conduct active monitoring in the field of andragogy and techno-pedagogy applied to continuing education, particularly to develop innovative proposals within programmes
Required qualifications and skills
- Complete university education (minimum master’s degree)
- Additional training in educational sciences (andragogy and techno-pedagogy)
- 3 to 5 years of experience specific to the job requirements
- Experience in project management, notably managing customised continuing education programme projects
- Experience in academic teaching, online teaching, adult education
- Experience in communication
- Good knowledge of the academic environment and university continuing education
- Good knowledge of the Swiss academic system and the Bologna framework
- Good knowledge of educational engineering and distance learning
- Analytical and synthesis skills
- High versatility, autonomy, and methodical approach
- Interest in working as part of a team
- Negotiation skills, communication sense and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in French (writing proficiency), English (writing proficiency), understanding of German
- Good presentation
