Apprenticeship Specialist Hotel and Hospitality Management EFZ

As a Specialist in Hotel and Hospitality Management EFZ in training, you take care of accommodation and catering for our patients, thus enabling them to have a pleasant stay. Among other things, you ensure laundry supply: you learn to wash, iron, store, and if necessary, mend bed linen, terry cloth, resident laundry, and staff uniforms. You care for plants and keep patient rooms clean, tidy, and well-maintained, with daily or periodic basic cleaning. You also ensure germ-free surfaces in other hospital areas. In gastronomy, you prepare food and drinks and actively work in Kafi 27 and the Panorama staff restaurant. Serving patient menus is part of your duties, as is cleaning and maintaining professional kitchen equipment, e.g., coffee machines. In the logistics area, you help optimize organizational operational processes. You learn to know and comply with important safety and hygiene regulations. Of course, you also assist with administrative tasks and ordering (cash register accounting, checklists, etc.). As a Specialist in Hotel and Hospitality Management EFZ at Affoltern Hospital, you have regular working hours.
