We are looking for you as soon as possible for a career change as a specialist for construction site safety (m/f/d) at DB Fahrwegdienste GmbH at the locations Karlsruhe or Freiburg im Breisgau.

This is what awaits you during the retraining:

• In about a year, you will learn step by step what you need for this profession
• Theory and practice alternate – so you will be shown everything and can try it out immediately
• Of course, you will be accompanied by experienced colleagues, so the entry also succeeds for those who want to try something completely new
• The theoretical lessons take place as close to your place of residence as possible, the practical assignments mostly take place in your future area of deployment
• You will receive a secure salary from the start

After your retraining, you will take on the following tasks:

• You ensure in a team that no one is harmed at our track construction sites
• Employees in the track area are warned by you with various signals and modern warning systems of approaching trains
• The implementation of safety rules as well as the briefing of new safety posts are part of your daily work
• The exchange with your various contacts ensures a smooth process
• You take responsibility for organising and controlling the safety measures on the construction sites

Your profile:

• You are at least 18 years old and have a secondary school leaving certificate
• Special prior experience is not necessary, but you trust yourself to ensure safety and are reliable
• Fresh air and working outdoors are exactly your thing, regardless of the weather
• You can communicate confidently in German, both spoken and written
• You are flexible – night or weekend work as well as changing locations do not bother you
• A class B driving licence and your own vehicle are desirable but not mandatory
