The city of Illnau-Effretikon - located between Winterthur and Zurich - offers attractive conditions for its approximately 17,800 inhabitants with its rural and urban areas, hamlets, centres, and the historic village of Kyburg.

A wide range of childcare services is available to families with children. Childcare places are available for children from kindergarten up to the 6th grade of primary school. The children live and learn in an age-heterogeneous and socially mixed group.

For the team of school-complementary care at the Eselriet school units, we are looking for a childcare specialist from 17 August 2026 or by arrangement (you will accompany the children during 39 teaching weeks on the following days: Mon, Tue and Thu from 11:00 to 18:00)

• Age- and needs-appropriate care of children aged four years up to the 6th grade of primary school
• Support in caring for the children at lunchtime and in the afternoon care
• Provide a variety of leisure activities and accompany and promote the children according to their developmental level
• Assist with domestic tasks

• Have professional experience in leisure care of age-mixed groups of children and are accustomed to practical work.
• Enjoy working with younger children at a large care centre and like to take on a key role in the team.
• Have good spoken German skills.
• Have a high sense of responsibility, are a team player and communicative.
• Have completed vocational training as a Childcare Specialist EFZ
