Electrical Engineer 80 – 100 % (m/f/d)

The Business Unit Process Analytics develops, produces, and markets state-of-the-art process measurement technology for customers in biopharma, chemistry, and breweries. Our product portfolio includes sensors for critical process parameters such as pH value, oxygen, and sensors for measuring cell density, which are enormously important in biological processes and unique worldwide with their innovative technology.
What you can achieve:
We offer our customers in the biotech, pharmaceutical, and process industries as well as in research innovative measurement solutions for their complex processes, for example, vaccine production.
As a developer, you work within the "Electronics and Firmware" group of our development department. You will be involved in the development and maintenance of innovative sensor technologies for process measurement technology. You work in dynamic project teams composed of specialists from various disciplines, representing the electronics hardware area.
Your main tasks include:
- Development of electronic concepts
- Hardware development in interdisciplinary project teams
- Schematic and layout design of electronic hardware using CAE software
- Creation of test concepts and test specifications
- Creation of EMC test plans including execution and documentation
- Assembly, commissioning, and testing of prototypes and pilot series
- Collaboration on hardware adaptations of existing products
- Preparation of complete documentation
You bring the following:
- Completed degree in electrical engineering with a focus on electronics
- Several years of professional experience in industrial product development
- Several years of professional experience using CAE software
- Knowledge of analogue circuit technology
- Knowledge of digital circuit technology
- Preferably experience in circuit simulation
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Analytical thinking skills
- Communicative, creative, and team-oriented personality
- Good German and English skills, both spoken and written
