Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewellery, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Cold Room/Freezers -22degreesF/-6degrees C, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)Job Description

A Day in the Life
- Efficient, timely and GMP-compliant execution of manufacturing and packaging orders
- GMP-compliant documentation of completed work Compliance with specific regulations in the manufacture and packaging of clinical trial samples, especially GMP rules, hygiene and safety regulations and the relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs) and order instructions
- Ensuring active, timely and appropriate communication of progress and difficulties to colleagues and supervisors
- Active participation in identifying, communicating and resolving problems and inefficiencies as well as improvement opportunities
- Operating relevant machines and equipment
- Performing TOE in GPM
- Independently scanning components
- Independently booking finished products
The Path to Success
- Preferably completed apprenticeship in a field relevant to the position
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or food industry
- GMP experience or training is an advantage
- Good English skills, spoken and written
- Ability to communicate appropriately and well with colleagues and supervisors in German (spoken and written)
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently even under stress and in a multicultural environment
- IT skills (Microsoft Office) are an advantage
- Flexibility for shift work
- Physical requirements / work environment
- Ability to work in ambient and cooled environments (2 to 8°C, short-term -20°C)
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods, including walking, bending and stretching
