About the job
The Baumer Group is an internationally leading manufacturer of sensors and measuring instruments for factory and process automation. We owe this success to our approximately 2,800 employees worldwide, who are always searching for the best solutions for our customers with passion, expertise, and commitment.
The headquarters in Frauenfeld (Thurgau) sets the pace for the globally sought-after Baumer sensor solutions. Around 700 employees from engineering, product management, manufacturing, logistics, sales, and services work closely together here: engineers continuously develop new solutions, while the production and logistics teams ensure that the sensors arrive at customers on time and in Baumer quality.
Our location in Frauenfeld is home to around 700 employees and the starting point for sensor solutions used worldwide. To ensure that employees, customers, and visitors always feel welcome, more than modern buildings are needed. It requires people who passionately ensure that our environment remains well-maintained, clean, and inviting.
For my team, I am therefore looking for a person who enjoys working outdoors, takes responsibility, and finds joy in visible results. You do not simply maintain our green spaces according to plan but independently recognise what needs to be done and get stuck in. At the same time, you support us with minor maintenance work and contribute flexibly to the building services when needed.
I am looking for someone with professional pride, a thoughtful approach, and the ambition to contribute every day to a well-kept overall appearance. If you enjoy working independently, are a team player, and take pleasure in a varied role, I look forward to meeting you.
Daniel Mauch, Head of Facility Management
With us, collaboration happens where ideas are born: together on site. We are convinced that good leadership, team spirit, and quick decisions work best when people can exchange ideas personally. That is why we deliberately focus on 100% work on site – for close collaboration, short distances, and a lively corporate culture. In exceptional cases (e.g., a craftsman’s visit, doctor’s appointment, official business, etc.), it is of course possible to work from home occasionally.
