To ensure our delivery capability and quality in the future, we are looking for a committed individual as Operational Buyer & Planning (m/f/d), 80-100%
Your Tasks
- Responsibility for demand planning and scheduling of components and traded products
- Ensuring product availability taking into account delivery dates and stock levels
- Expansion and maintenance of the supplier portfolio as well as development of sustainable supplier relationships
- Obtaining, comparing and evaluating quotations
- Negotiating purchase prices as well as purchasing and delivery conditions
- Continuous optimisation of procurement costs and procurement processes
- Ensuring quality along the entire supply chain and resolving quality issues with suppliers
- Responsibility for goods receipts and the accounting of creditor invoices
- Supporting product development in all procurement-related matters
- Maintaining and continuously updating procurement master data in the ERP system
Your Profile
- Technical or commercial basic training with further education in purchasing (e.g. federal diploma in purchasing) or technical further education at HF level
- Several years of professional experience in purchasing and/or material planning, ideally in a manufacturing industrial company
- Negotiation skills as well as a strong awareness of costs, quality and deadlines
- Good ERP knowledge and confident handling of common MS Office applications
- Fluent English skills in spoken and written form as well as confident German
- Independent, structured and reliable working style with high initiative and sense of responsibility
- Willingness to travel occasionally to our European suppliers
