The Hospital Network AR
The Hospital Network Appenzell Ausserrhoden, with the acute hospital Herisau and the Psychiatric Centre AR in Herisau, ensures extended basic medical care for the population in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care within the canton and beyond.
We are looking for
In the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy under the direction of Dr Mirjana Vidakovic, Ms Séverine Buchter and Ms Melanie Bruderer are seeking a Dipl. Nursing Specialist HF/FH for the Addiction Treatment Ward from 1 October 2026 or by arrangement.
Your tasks
- Participation in reference and core team work
- Strong, transparent and consensus-oriented collaboration in the interdisciplinary setting as well as with patients
- Support and management of everyday and crisis situations as well as leading nursing therapeutic groups
- Electronic documentation with ORBIS NICE and other IT systems
Your profile
- A completed HF or FH degree in nursing
- Interest in psychiatric and psychotherapeutic work with people suffering from addiction disorders
- Strong willingness to work in a team
- Ability to reflect and apply in everyday life
- Participation in the further development and consolidation of the treatment concept
- If possible, professional experience in the field of addiction treatment and psychotherapy
- Proof of addiction-specific further training or willingness to attend corresponding further training
