Your Tasks
In this demanding leadership role, you will jointly assume responsibility with your superior for around 700 employees across 11 inpatient wards and 6 outpatient clinics in the fields of surgery and medicine. Together with the two deputy heads of nursing, you will foster a collaborative, cross-departmental cooperation and promote a respectful and performance-oriented leadership culture. You will lead, support, and develop the nursing management team with foresight and commitment, thereby making a significant contribution to the quality and future viability of nursing. In close collaboration with the medical service, the CNO, and the nursing directorate, you will actively participate in the strategic and professional development of our organisation. Furthermore, you will initiate and lead cross-departmental projects and working groups and represent nursing in surgery and medicine competently – both internally and externally. You can expect a collegial working environment characterised by mutual respect, trust, and appreciation. A special highlight: In January 2027, we will move into our modern new building "Dreiklang". Shaping this forward-looking environment and actively accompanying the associated changes will be among your central tasks.
Your Profile
We are looking for an inspiring leader with a drive for shaping and a passion for nursing. You gladly take on responsibility, support people in their development, and know how to enthuse and sustainably strengthen teams. You think in networks, act strategically and conceptually, and never lose sight of practical relevance. You shape changes with foresight, pragmatism, and high implementation competence. Your professional foundation is a tertiary-level nursing qualification and several years of leadership experience – ideally at least four years in a comparable role in an acute hospital. Additionally, you have solid further training in nursing or health management. Personally, you convince with your strong communication skills, confident demeanour, and ability to bring together different stakeholders in partnership and develop joint solutions.
