As a Senior Reputation Risk Officer within the Global Private Bank, you will serve as a trusted advisor to Front Office and senior stakeholders, providing expert judgment and decisive guidance on reputation risk for new client onboarding, transactions, and periodic reviews. You will conduct rigorous assessments using multiple internal and external information sources, deliver clear recommendations, and apply independent challenge where needed. Your work will directly influence key business decisions, strengthen governance, and help ensure the bank consistently operates with integrity in high-stakes situations.
Job responsibilities
- Conduct deep dives and risk assessments, recommending strategies to mitigate reputation risk.
- Implement Firmwide Reputation Risk Policy and Standard within the Legal Entity, supporting Asset & Wealth Management Global Head.
- Liaise with Global Financial Crimes Compliance and front office to ensure coordinated risk treatment.
Produce and present succinct, decision-ready reporting and recommendations for senior management on material reputation risk matters.
- Build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships, proactively surfacing emerging issues and driving coordinated risk management.
- Deliver training and advisory support on reputation risk standards, escalation expectations, and committee governance.
- Ensure strong oversight and discipline in recordkeeping, policy updates, and broader risk team deliverables, promoting consistency, control, and risk awareness.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Strong analytical skills to assess complex information and extract critical risk elements.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities to influence and advise business senior stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of reputation risk, regulatory requirements, and JP Morgan best practices.
- High integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally in a financial institution.
Proficiency in research, due diligence, and risk assessment tools.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Degree in Law or a related field preferred.
