Media Librarian 50%The Kantonsschule Zürcher Oberland (KZO) in Wetzikon is a vibrant school that values an open culture, joint commitment, and an inspiring learning environment. It currently offers a lower secondary level (9th/10th school year) and all Zurich Matura profiles across 60 classes. With around 1300 students, 200 teachers, and 40 staff members in administration and operations, KZO is one of the large grammar schools in the canton.
The KZO media library is a central place for learning, research, and social interaction. With its diverse offerings, it is popular and well frequented by students, teachers, and staff.
To complement our team, we are seeking a Media Librarian 50% from 1 October 2026 or by arrangement.
Your tasks
- Responsibility for the entire counter area: lending, returns, reservations of physical and electronic media
- Information and advice (from books to research)
- Periodicals management
- Additional tasks as agreed and depending on capacity (e.g. youth fiction or others)
Your profile
- Completed training in the library sector
- Professional experience in a library or media library
- Enjoy working with young people and adults in a lively environment
- Strong service and advisory skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft 365 applications
- Knowledge of the library programme Winmedio
