Head of Energy Efficiency, Building Services Engineering and Operational Optimisation (80 - 100%)
We invest as an independent service provider for Swiss pension funds in real estate. Throughout Switzerland, we create spaces for living and working. Our 80 employees manage a real estate portfolio of around 16 billion and prepare it for an environmentally and climate-friendly future.
To complement our Development & Construction Management team with 23 employees, we are looking for a committed colleague as Head of Energy Efficiency, Building Services Engineering and Operational Optimisation in the role of client representation from spring 2027 or by arrangement.
What you will do with us
- Lead the Energy Efficiency and Building Services Engineering team in the role of client representation
- Establish and further develop a group-wide specialist and competence centre for energy efficiency, operational optimisation and climate-adapted construction
- Develop and implement strategies to increase energy efficiency and sustainability in the real estate portfolio
- Manage strategic projects in the areas of energy generation, energy consumption and indoor comfort as well as operational optimisation
- Ensure early integration of building services requirements in new build, renovation and operational projects
- Provide professional support and quality assurance for complex building services installations and the performance dimensioning of technical systems
What you bring
- University degree (FH, ETH or university) in building services engineering, construction, energy or engineering sciences or similar
- Several years of experience in energy efficiency, building services engineering and operational optimisation of real estate, especially sites and residential properties
- Experience in leading complex projects and managing interdisciplinary teams
- Understanding of the needs of various stakeholders in the real estate environment
- Analytical, conceptual and entrepreneurial thinking
- High communication and leadership skills as well as the ability to reconcile different interests
- Innovative spirit, initiative and interest in sustainable future topics
- Very good German skills (C2), French skills are an advantage
