Your area of responsibility

You report directly to the Chairman of the Board and are responsible for the comprehensive management and further development of the company and the operations team. The task includes the successful completion of the commissioning, achieving full capacity and ensuring continuous plant operation. Your focus is on the efficient, high-quality and cost-effective operation of the plant. In addition to management, operational work and taking on regular on-call duties, you also represent the company externally and are responsible for acquiring and building further partners in the field of green waste as well as for the acceptance of liquid and solid residual materials (fertiliser). You prepare regular management reports as well as annual budget and investment plans for the Board of Directors. After an induction period, you also appreciate participating in industry associations.

Your personality

Completed technical or agricultural basic training and ideally further education at HF/FH level in technical and/or business administration and several years of professional experience. Knowledge in the field of green waste utilisation, biogas production, digestate processing or experience in a similar environment (e.g. waste incineration plant) will help you succeed. Initial direct leadership experience would be an advantage. High commitment, flexibility, sense of responsibility and a can-do attitude characterise you. You are self-motivated, stress-resistant and communicate appropriately both internally and externally (technology suppliers/partners, municipalities/administrations, farmers, contractors, public/neighbours). Very good oral and written German skills are a must, ideally also Swiss German.
