The Red Cross Service (RKD) is an organization of the Swiss Red Cross. At the RKD headquarters (GS RKD), all tasks of the RKD are coordinated and carried out. Around 270 women with qualified medical professional training voluntarily serve in uniform in the RKD – supporting the medical service of the Swiss Army.
The Red Cross Service Headquarters is looking for a Senior Assistant 100% immediately or by arrangement.
What you can achieve
This central hub function includes the following areas of responsibility:
- Assistance to the head of RKD in all administrative, organizational, and project-related matters of the GS RKD
- Responsibility for the front desk as well as for the operational management of the GS RKD
- First point of contact and coordination for external inquiries and concerns
As a temporary substitute until further notice:
- Planning, organizing, executing, and evaluating the annual analog promotional appearances
- Responsibility for logistics and materials of the GS RKD as well as maintenance and cleanup of archive and storage
- Collaboration on various tasks in marketing, event planning, and event execution
What you bring with you
- A completed commercial training as well as several years of professional experience in a versatile, responsible administrative or organizational role; ideally complemented by further training as an executive assistant, in event management, media technology, marketing, or a related field
- You are an initiative-taking, flexible, and resilient personality with strong social skills and high commitment
- You show interest in the army and are willing to acquire in-depth knowledge about the army's medical service
- Very good knowledge of the MS Office suite as well as the ability to quickly learn new (military) software, train employees in it, and act as a super user
- Team spirit and diplomatic demeanor towards customers
- You work independently, structured, and keep an overview even in hectic situations
- Your outgoing nature, organizational flair, and networked thinking shape your working style
- Excellent German or French skills (C2) with very good knowledge of the other national language (B2) complete your profile
- Driver's license category B
