Senior Cobol Development on AS-400 (m/f)

We are looking, for one of our clients, for a Senior Cobol Development Engineer on AS-400 (m/f),

Work location: Lausanne region

As part of a replacement related to the retirement of a colleague, you will join the Banking/Insurance & BI Solutions division to strengthen the development team in charge of the bank's applications.

After a period of skill development on the platform and internal tools, you will be responsible for enriching and maintaining the applications. You will gradually become a preferred contact for business partners (Insurance, Banking, partners, etc.).

Requirements

You have a university degree with proven experience in Cobol programming on IBM systems (AS/400, I-Series, System-I) and DB2.

You have a good understanding of functional aspects and are able to gather, analyze, and conceptualize business needs. You have UML knowledge and are familiar with service-oriented development concepts.

The following skills will also be valued:

• Knowledge of RPG, Java or other object-oriented languages

• Experience in REST API development

• Practice with SpringData, RDI, and Arcad frameworks

• Experience in agile development and Scrum practice

Curious and enthusiastic by nature, you demonstrate good listening skills and are client-oriented.

As a native French speaker, you have good knowledge of English.
