As a Reinsurance Specialist, you play a central role in the financial management of the international insurance and reinsurance business of Specialty Lines CH & International, ensuring that complex contracts are always accurately, completely, and timely represented. You manage selected contract portfolios holistically across both gross and reinsurance sides; from representation in SAP FS-RI to managing payment flows, receivables, and liabilities in SAP FS-CD. With your analyses, you create transparency, provide valuable impulses for well-founded decisions, and actively develop efficient end-to-end processes. At the same time, you contribute your expertise in financial statements, reporting, and planning within the Passive Reinsurance Team.

What you achieve

• You manage selected insurance and reinsurance contracts throughout their entire lifecycle, ensuring precise, complete, and timely representation in SAP FS-RI.
• You ensure contract compliance of transactions, settlements, and bordereaux with your quality focus, as well as consistent results at gross, ceded, and net levels.
• You drive key payment processes in SAP FS-CD, keep track of receivables and liabilities, and ensure smooth payment flows.
• You transform contract, payment, and result data into clear insights and well-founded decision bases for management.
• You apply your expertise in quarterly and annual financial statements, forecasts, and financial planning, and support treaty renewals as well as new contract structures.
• You resolve discrepancies pragmatically and collaboratively – in close exchange with internal teams, clients, brokers, and reinsurance partners.
• You actively shape the future of our end-to-end processes, accelerate automation, and support system tests, migrations, as well as regulatory and accounting projects.

What you bring

• You have a degree in business administration, accounting, or a comparable qualification.
• You bring experience in the insurance or reinsurance environment, ideally in financial accounting, technical accounting, or subsidiary ledger management.
• You confidently apply your knowledge of IFRS 17 and/or local accounting standards; experience with SAP FS-RI and SAP FS-CD is a plus.
• You convince with analytical, solution-oriented thinking as well as a strong quality and detail awareness.
• You act confidently, reliably, and focused even in intense phases and effectively set priorities.
• You actively shape your area of responsibility with initiative, independence, and team spirit.
• You communicate complex matters clearly and convincingly – in German and English as well as in exchange with internal and external partners.
