Automation Engineer

Pelco SA, an electrical and automation engineering company located in Collombey-Muraz (Valais), is looking for a qualified automation engineer.

Desired profile:

• Experienced certified automation engineer, or equivalent training considered
• Experience in electrical engineering, ideally in building and industrial sectors

Key responsibilities and tasks:

• Study, design and size high and low voltage electrical installations
• Develop detailed diagrams
• Prepare plans, single-line diagrams and synoptics
• Write technical reports
• Monitor and coordinate contractors' work
• Organise and carry out panel receptions in the workshop
• Organise and carry out site installation receptions
• Organise and perform functional checks and commissioning tests

Skills and requirements:

• Experience in designing automation systems, ideally in industrial and/or building sectors
• Good knowledge of PLCs, regulation and control of technical installations
• Knowledge of building supervision and technical management systems (BMS/BAS) as well as HMI/SCADA interfaces
• Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, Eplan, Winprogitel etc.)
• Methodical mindset, precision and autonomy in work
