Area of Responsibility
As an apprentice system catering specialist EFZ, you can expect a solid and broad education in our restaurants: During the three-year training, you will not only learn how to prepare products and serve guests, but above all you will get to the bottom of business management contexts.
In addition to food science, quality assurance, product manufacturing and sales, marketing, human resources, cost control and the organization of workflows are on your curriculum. With a clear plan: to enter restaurant management after your training. By the way, you complete your vocational training in parallel at vocational school and in one of our restaurants.
Your apprenticeship completion and thus the EFZ is the first milestone in your development at McDonald’s. You can continue your education internally as well as externally. In the restaurant, you can advance up to the manager. And in the gastronomy sector, you have a variety of development opportunities.

As an apprentice, you are well taken care of with us: In every restaurant, a trained professional is at your side and supports you throughout your entire apprenticeship.
In addition, you benefit from 6 weeks of vacation per year, internal training (parallel to school and operational training) as well as a specially tailored annual plan with exciting activities.
