Specialist Responsible for Sterile Goods & Instrument Management 40%
Tasks
In this responsible role, you ensure the smooth and safe instrument and sterile goods cycle at the Olten site. You take over the professional coordination of the processes and are the central contact person for internal and external interfaces.
- Organisation and coordination of the entire sterile goods and instrument management
- Ensuring the correct receipt, inspection, storage, and provision of medical products
- Coordination of external sterile goods processing including transport, return, and documentation
- Quality control, ensuring hygiene requirements as well as traceability
- Organisation of repairs, inventory checks, and material orders
- Professional guidance and training of employees in handling contaminated and sterile instruments
- Active participation in process optimisation and quality assurance
- Close cooperation with the operating theatre, medical staff, nursing, technical services, purchasing/logistics, and external partners
Job Requirements
- Completed training as a Technical Sterilisation Assistant FKI / FKII or comparable qualification advantageous
- Several years of experience in sterile goods processing and instrument management advantageous
- Sound knowledge of relevant hygiene, quality, and standard requirements, ideally ISO 13485, EN 285 and Swissmedic
- Basic medical expertise
- Organisational talent with independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Strong quality, responsibility, and hygiene awareness
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, and resilience
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
