Senior Real Estate Accountant

Are you confident with financial statements, feel at home both in classical financial accounting and real estate accounting, and appreciate a varied range of tasks? In this position, you will take responsibility for the accounting and financial statements of various companies up to group and holding level, while simultaneously managing the property accounting of the company’s own real estate portfolio. This offers an exciting combination of traditional accounting and real estate.

Your tasks

• Independent management of the financial and property accounting of various companies
• Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements as well as closing tasks at property and holding level
• Management of property accounting including periodic closings and service charge settlements
• Responsibility for VAT returns, asset accounting, intercompany billing and intercompany reconciliations
• Management of accounts receivable and accounts payable including payment transactions, dunning and debt collection
• Active development of financial and accounting processes as well as participation in digitalisation and optimisation projects

Your profile

• Commercial training with further education in finance and accounting
• Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting within a real estate environment
• Solid experience in real estate/property accounting
• Strong confidence in financial statements and enjoyment of a broad accounting task range
• Good IT user skills; experience with Abacus and/or AbaImmo is an advantage
• Fluent German as well as an independent, precise and team-oriented working style
