Nursing Specialist HF/FH (Night Shift)

The Gesundheitsnetz Küsnacht AG (GNK) with the elderly and health centres Tägerhalde and Wangensbach with around 130 residents as well as day care, Spitex, assisted living and counselling with a total of around 250 employees is a non-profit public limited company wholly owned by the municipality of Küsnacht. To complement our night watch team, we are looking for a motivated and resilient person with heart who competently supports our residents during the night and contributes together with the team to a high level of care and nursing quality.

Your new tasks

• Taking over house responsibility as a specialist in the night shift and contact person for nursing assistants at night
• Responsibility and assurance of professional as well as individual care and nursing of residents with different care needs
• Calm and professional handling in crisis and emergency situations
• Responsibility for complete and meaningful documentation (easyDok)
• Active shaping of a positive team culture and collaboration
• Participation in quality improvement

What you bring with you

• Qualification as a certified nursing specialist (SRK recognition available)
• Professional experience in long-term care, geriatrics and/or gerontopsychiatry
• Empathy and enjoyment in dealing with elderly people
• Team spirit, resilience, flexibility and empathy
• High degree of independence and sense of responsibility
• Very good oral and written German skills as well as good IT user skills
