Job Description
- Assisting with visual and functional inspection of electronic assemblies
- Populating, assembling, soldering, gluing, coating, pressing in and panel depaneling of electronic assemblies in electronics manufacturing
- Manual and machine soldering (hand soldering, selective soldering)
- Press-fit assembly of various components
- Manual and machine depaneling of printed circuit boards according to manufacturing specifications
- Conducting visual, functional and device tests
- Quality controls according to work instructions and IPC guidelines
- Flexible involvement in various process steps of electronics manufacturing
- Support with rework, repairs and process optimisations
- Situational support in various manufacturing areas of electronics production as an allrounder or floater
- Ensuring smooth production flow through flexible readiness for deployment
- Operation and monitoring of SMT placement machines, AOI and X-Ray
Qualifications
- Several years of verifiable practical experience in electronics manufacturing (EMS) is mandatory and expected
- Very good knowledge of SMT and THT processes
- Solid experience in hand soldering of electronic assemblies
- High quality and responsibility awareness
- Clean, structured and reliable working method
- Good manual skills and careful working style
- Team spirit and willingness to work flexibly
- Willingness to work shifts is mandatory
- Flexibility for various tasks and changing areas of responsibility
- Experience in selective soldering is an advantage
- Experience in depaneling printed circuit boards is an advantage
- Experience with press-fit technology is an advantage
- Experience as SMT machine operator is an advantage
- Experience in testing electronic devices or assemblies is an advantage
- Knowledge of IPC standards (e.g. IPC-A-610) is an advantage
