Adult Protection Officer

The Directorate for Security, Environment and Energy is committed to safety, protection and assistance, environmental protection, sustainable energy supply, and is responsible for building permit procedures as well as the Bern Zoo. The Office for Adult and Child Protection is the competence center of the City of Bern in the field of clarifications and guardianships.

• Support social workers / professional guardians in administrative tasks in the field of adult protection as well as in the management of income and assets
• Correspond with authorities, insurance companies and other organizations
• Assert client claims with social insurance
• Handle tax matters including clients' tax returns
